Hundreds Attend E-Sevai Center Entrepreneurship Training in Chennai

A two-day entrepreneurship training program for aspiring E-Sevai Center operators was successfully conducted on June 23 and 24 at the Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation Institute (EDII-TN) in Ekkatuthangal, Chennai. The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from hundreds of students and aspiring entrepreneurs from Chennai, Tiruvallur, Kanchipuram, Chengalpattu, and several other districts across Tamil Nadu.

The training was designed to equip participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to establish and operate E-Sevai Centers, which play a crucial role in delivering government services to the public through digital platforms. The sessions covered the procedures for setting up an E-Sevai Center, eligibility requirements, service delivery processes, and day-to-day operational practices.

The training sessions were led by Mrs. Bhakiyalakshmi, who provided detailed guidance on various aspects of E-Sevai services. She explained the process of filling out online applications, submitting documents, downloading government certificates, and handling different citizen service requests efficiently. Participants were also trained on maintaining accuracy while processing applications and ensuring smooth service delivery.

In addition to technical training, the participants received valuable insights into customer service and professional communication. The trainer emphasized the importance of treating citizens with courtesy, maintaining transparency, and providing prompt assistance to enhance public satisfaction.
The interactive sessions encouraged participants to actively engage with the trainers by asking questions and clarifying their doubts. Many attendees appreciated the practical demonstrations and hands-on guidance, stating that the program significantly improved their understanding of E-Sevai operations and increased their confidence in starting their own service centers.

During the event, Mr. Subramani addressed the participants on the financial aspects of starting a business. He explained the procedures for obtaining business loans, preparing project proposals, approaching banks, and understanding the documentation required for loan applications. His session provided practical guidance for aspiring entrepreneurs looking to establish self-employment ventures.

At the conclusion of the program, participants shared positive feedback, describing the training as informative, practical, and beneficial for those planning to start an E-Sevai Center. At the conclusion of the two-day training program, Assistant Director Mr. Prem Kumar presented Tamil Nadu Government-recognized certificates to all the participants. Cameraman Benny and assistant Muthukumar recorded participants’ feedback and testimonials, while also providing seamless support and assistance to the trainees throughout the program. The organizers also ensured comfortable arrangements by providing meals and refreshments throughout the two-day training program.

The training program served as a valuable initiative to promote entrepreneurship and digital service delivery while encouraging self-employment opportunities among youth in Tamil Nadu.
